This article is centered around the debate over whether "hipster" is a negative or positive word. This article seems to be pretty neutral. The author gives information and background on the word hipster without really giving an opinion. Unlike in Greif's article that we read in class where he took an obvious stand against hipsters, here he seems more neutral. I see a common trend that Greif uses in his work. He uses the work of other journalists and writers to support his ideas. He refers here to multiple headlines and articles about hipsters. I thought this article was interesting to read and easy to form my own opinion on hipsters because of its neutrality.
