This funny comic strip represents the idea we have recently been discussing, which is hipster objects and accessories. This idea relates back to En Khong and Benjamin's articles and how each author has a love for a specific object. While Khong loves the tip writer and Benjamin loves his books, the guy in the comic loves the old-fashioned clothing look. Hipsters use objects that remind them of a past time in order to help themselves fit into that time and those memories. This comic is a great example of why hipsters do not use objects for what they really are, but for what they represent because this hipster clearly does not enjoy looking like a homeless man. He wears these clothes because of the old look they represent. Very hipster-esque! Brooke Alpart
