This article discusses the idea of hipsters in a "us" versus "them" mindset. This article is relevant to our class because it relates to Christy Wampole's piece "How to Live Without Irony". These two articles are similar because they both think of hipsters as a separate entity, "them". Wampole takes this idea a step further by differentiating herself, the audience, and hipsters from each other and then joining everyone back together by the end of the piece.
